Right behind beach. One house back but some water views from unit. We were there in mid October past the high season. Very calm and peaceful there. Probably the cleanest vrbo rental I ever stayed in. Clearly a full remodel had been recently done. Bayley property manager is top tier, and stayed in touch and made sure we had a good experience.

What a fantastic place! Perfect location– just a few minutes walk to the beach, also close to Portland and an easy drive to stores and shops. Plenty of rooms and beds for the 9 of us; a great kitchen for all the cooking and baking we did (2 chefs among us, very pleased with the kitchen); and a fabulous living space for chilling and playing games. Checking in and out was simple and convenient. Highly recommend this place!

We absolutely loved this rental for our family!! It was the perfect location, so comfortable and spacious, and the condo was stocked with everything we’d need, even toddler plates for our two year old! BVR was so accommodating every time I contacted them with questions, honestly every part of our trip was so smooth and easy. We were a little worried about how noisy it would be with the hotel being located right in downtown, but we really could not hear a peep from our room! And our two young sons slept wonderfully. We can’t wait to come back!

Great place to stay! Newly renovated, bright, clean and updated. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and plenty of dishware. The house was very comfortable and the front porch was so relaxing with the rockers. Garage was stocked with beach equipment and it’s only a short walk and you are on the sand. Would definitely come back again!

We have rented in this area for over 40 years. This is an outstanding property in an outstanding location. The house and accommodations are beautiful. Bayley’s did a great job of making us feel welcome and responding to any questions. The view is terrific and the other amenities, like the community pool and beachside deck are unique and luxurious bonuses. Some of us needed to work and Wi-Fi was no problem. The house is convenient to downtown Old Orchard, Saco, Ocean Park and within walking distance of Ferry Beach State Park. There are two flights of stairs in the property so gates for small children might be helpful. We hope to stay here again, maybe even in the off-season.!

If you are beach lovers this is the place for you. Pine Point is a dog friendly beach(look for rules and hours) and bike beach. Low tide offers hard packed sand. Great for running and walking!Lots of restaurants nearby and the cutest place just across the street, Salty Bay with a tavern only if you order food from Salty Bay so not a big bar scene just a few people and last call is 8:30! So perfect!It’s great for a couple or a couple with young children.

We had such a wonderful time staying at the Lookout, everything was perfect! It’s steps away from the beach in the most adorable little neighborhood. There are lots of activities and anything you need is nearby but still have the ambience of staying in a cute small beach town. The house had all the beach amenities and a nice fenced in yard for the dog. Bayley Vacation Rentals was easy to work with and made everything convienent for us, no hassles at all.

Blue Doors By the Sea was a lovely home for our family vacation. The location was perfect, a 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach, close to Old Orchard amusement park and shops as well as kayaking. We travelled easily to Kennebunkport, Ogunquit and Portland for whale watching, dining and shopping!We stayed in the downstairs bedroom which had a locked owners closet so unfortunately we were unable to hang anything up. It would be helpful to have many hooks installed on the walls and back of the door. Two families (8 people) stayed upstairs but had no place to hang their wet towels. Hooks are also needed there as well.The in-law suite was a very nice, with spacious rooms but also had no closet. Hooks, please!We loved the upper deck with a small view of the ocean. We took advantage of the front patio, grill and fire pit! Overall, we had a great time!

We had a wonderful week at Seven Gables! The house is amazing…old wood floors and staircases. There were 16 of us and we still had one bedroom to spare. The two beaches were so close, and all the 10 kids had so much fun playing in the water. The house is not air-conditioned, but plenty of fans were provided and we did just fine. For a large group like ours, this was the perfect place to stay!

Our family of 14 (7 adults and 7 kids from 1-9yrs) had a perfect week at Family Tides! We loved the one-block walk to the uncrowded and beautiful beach, with many beach chairs provided by the host (although be aware, no beach towels were provided and there’s no outdoor shower to rinse off). The large house itself is spectacular, exceptionally well-designed and decorated, comfortable and clean, with flexible spaces for all ages and a very large open great room with plenty of dining and relaxing space. The amazing kitchen (2 dishwashers, six-burner gas stove) and the walk-in pantry were very well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals for our large group. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxed, easy to take walks or go for a run. We really enjoyed being near several dining and activity options, and especially liked the short easy drive to unique Old Orchard Beach fun! We would definitely return to stay again at this special property.

This home worked out great for our family beach vacation. The beach is just steps away! We loved waking up to the view of the dunes/water and hearing the crashing of waves as we drank our coffee on the deck. The rental company was welcoming and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning next year!

Several things stand out about our stay at this property: Sleeping arrangements were perfect, 1st floor bedroom for Grammy, 2nd floor had great set-up for Mom n Dad with attached suite for children. Plenty of room for several children. And an additional 2nd floor bedroom for auntie. Beautiful ocean views, 5 minute walk to a gorgeous beach along a private beach walk. We loved the beach and how close it was to the house. The property was well stocked with beach chairs, beach toys, beach umbrella, coolers, etc. only thing missing was a beach wagon. Outdoor shower isn’t working but, there was a warm water hose to clean off sandy feet. The house is well stocked with dishes, glasses, cookware etc. Very comfortable and convenient place to stay. We will be back.

Location was amazing! I could not have chose a better location steps to the beach, ocean view from roof deck, and a quick walk to pier. Perfect combination of peace and quiet but also the nightlife at the strip near by. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. The owners were very responsive and checked in to make sure arrival was ok and asked if we needed anything. Old orchard beach itself was so nice. We have previously done Hampton and this felt like a huge upgrade. Police presence at pier made me feel safe with my teen walking around without me. No riff raff to be seen. I would stay here again and have already started talking about plans for next summer

Staying at the Dancing Queen was a wonderful vacation time for kids, parents and grandparents. The location makes it easily walkable to the boardwalk and the beach. The house itself was comfortable and had everything we expected. It seemed clear that guest enjoyment was a priority for the property owners and the rental managers.

Three generations stayed for a short week at this quaint little cottage. No stairs, all updated appliances, and ample amenities! The in-unit washer/dryer made vacation with kids a dream! It was the perfect location! Seeing the kids run to the water with ocean access at the end of the driveway was priceless! The outdoor shower kept sand outside. We had a small WiFi issue and property managers came out twice within the first day to fix the issue. We also met the owner while staying. Everyone with Bayley Vacation Rentals was kind, respectful, and focused on ensuring we had the best experience in OOB. This isn’t some big company going through the motions of rental management. This is a small company with real people who make a big impact and are proud of their coastal town. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay – myself, my husband and my 6,4, and 2 year old children all enjoyed our time at the beach. We could have done without the harassment of the old lady from cottage 4 (owner perhaps?) telling us to get out at 10am. We were packing the car at 10:02 and trying to get the kids in – we were not in the cottage anymore everything was out. We left the property 10:11am. Her nagging and threats of charging extra were completely unnecessary. It was too bad to have to leave on such a sour note, Otherwise our stay was great.

My overall impression was that the place was REALLY clean. It was also well-stocked, and we loved the close proximity to the beach. I only wish that we would have been given a heads-up on someone stopping by to clean the grill at dinner time on the night we had planned a BBQ, otherwise the communication of the host was good.

Our group of 8 (4 adults + 4 kids) had a great stay! The location is fantastic—just steps from the beach and a block from a corner store. The kitchen feels spacious with vaulted ceilings and a skylight, and it’s well-stocked with pots, pans, a full-size fridge, and a stove. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the second bathroom was a big plus (although the upstairs bathroom doesn’t have a lock, and the shower is a bit tight—perfect for kids!). The loft area is a hidden gem with a beautiful ocean view, which isn’t shown in the listing photos. We had a movie night up there, and everyone fit comfortably. Check-in/check-out was a breeze, and communication was easy via text. We appreciated having cleaning supplies handy to manage the beach sand. The AC and fan kept the place cool, though we preferred to keep the windows closed at night because of the loud train horn. Just a heads up: there’s no dishwasher or on-site laundry, and drying towels was a bit tricky without many hooks (bring extra hangers!). Also, the stairs up to the unit are a bit steep, which could be a problem for some. Overall, we loved it here and would absolutely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sunshine Daydream! The house was just close enough to the beach for a quick walk but also located in a quiet neighborhood ideal for relaxing at night. The house was great for our family, plenty of entertainment for our kids between the Arcade games, foosball table, Super nintendo, cornhole etc. And also great for the adults with the spacious backyard, fire pit and cabana. The beds were very comfortable, the host was very responsive and helpful. No complaints. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

This cottage is cute and cozy, and such a great location! Right on the salt marshes, walkable to Pine Point restaurants, and bike-able to Old Orchard Beach. It was super clean, REALLY comfy bedding, and Bayley Vacation Rentals was very communicative and helpful with guidance on check-in/-out, recs, and just checking in on us to see if we needed anything or had questions.

We stayed here last year, or maybe it was the year before, and it was very nice for each. Quiet, especially at night, out of the tourist-y busy-ness of the nearby Orchard Beach. A block walk to a beach entrance and some close-by walk-to and drive-to restaurants. A little Maine-sque-Tiki-Bar kind of place is a short walk away. Salty Bay I think – although I called it the Crusty Crab while we were there. I assume the Bayley people are girls, although I don’t actually know that to be the case, but they are always as sweet and helpful as can be. Very pleasant all around.

There were 7 adults and 7 kids ranging from 10-20yrs. There was plenty of room. The house was extremely well stocked in the kitchen. The appliances were phenomenal. Our only complaint was that the AC was not what we are used too. The outside temp was in the 80’s and the AC could not keep up. The fix was to open a few of the many windows and that cross breeze made everything great!! Overall a wonderful place and we would definitely rent here again.

The house was amazing and we had such a great time! It was plenty roomy for 7 adults and a really nice place. It was a quick stroll to the beach, basically right across the street. A huge backyard with a nice fire pit and an outdoor shower to wash your feet off. The management company was kind and checked up on us via text to ensure we knew how to reach them if needed. Overall it was a wonderful stay!

The property is very nice, clean and comfortable. You cannot beat the proximity to the beach – we loved being able to head back for lunch and a sun break. The pier and restaurants are walkable, but your far enough that its not crazy busy. As others have noted, the train is close by – but it didn’t bother us or our kids. Communication with the ‘host’ company was great. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in a great little two-bedroom apartment which was large enough for our family of 5. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, and having a washer and dryer inside of the apartment was a HUGE bonus. Location is great as it is only one block from the beach entrance, and it is a short walk to the pier. I was happy to not be so close to the pier that we could hear the noise and traffic all night. The train behind us didn’t bother us at all.
We will definitely consider this spot the next time we visit Old Orchard!

Également, n’étant pas Américain, je n’avais pas accès à mes MSM, donc ce n’était pas idéal de recevoir le code de la porte de cette manière. J’aurais apprécié pouvoir y avoir accès par courriel. Le wifi est facile d’accès et efficace.

I was nervous when the weather report came thru to expect 90s that the window units wouldn’t be able to handle keeping my dad comfortable, but it was great and we didn’t blow a fuse! It’s a quirky old house but it’s the third house from the beach. Location couldn’t have been better for the price. The roses were in bloom in June and it was a dreamy, aromatic walk to the beach. Beach did have a fair amount of seaweed :/ Host was very responsive. No significant issues.

This was a charming little cottage right next to the beach. The neighborhood is residential and quiet. The house was everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. The laundry and dishwasher in the kitchen made a week at the beach easy clean up at the end of each day. We prepared all of our meals in the kitchen or on the grill and ate at the patio table outside. Very clean and updated house prefect for a family of four.

The Hidden Cove was a great place to stay for a long weekend. Clean, comfortable, had everything we needed, and best of all- location… a short walk to the beach and restaurants! The only thing that would have made it even better would be more private outdoor space. The cottage is located directly behind another rental house and the picnic table/grill are only a few feet away from the house’s back deck. There is another cottage further behind on the marsh edge. That said, everything was as pictured.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sea Breeze with our children & grandchildren! The property was clean and spacious enough for our large family. There is easy access to the (uncrowded) Pine Point Beach, which we visited daily. We made a couple of trips into Portland to visit the Children’s Museum, local breweries, and the Old Port. We enjoyed the local 4th of July parade & activities in Scarborough! Any issues we had during our stay were quickly resolved by the property manager. We would definitely rent here again!!

We loved this house so much! Seriously, the pictures don’t do it justice. The beach is right across the street. You walk across a small street to the path and there you are. They even had beach chairs for us to use, which we so much appreciated.
The house had plenty of room to spread out. The backyard was beautiful and the seating was comfortable. There is a Big bunk room upstairs with a large television and bunkbeds and a Comfortable couch. The kids loved hanging out up there, but the adults did too. There is also a large living room, open with the kitchen and dining area with a large television. All of the TVs are smart TVs. The drawers are packed with games and puzzle. The kitchen had everything that we needed for family Meal preparation. There are two dishwashers, and a huge refrigerator/freezer.
The beach across from the house is not crowded. The public parking for the beach is down the street, so most of the crowds are down about a mile or so. The house is close to old Orchard Beach, with lots of restaurants and shopping. There are also a couple of restaurants within walking distance, about a mile or so. Walmart plus delivers so we did not even have to go to the grocery store.
Bring your beach towels, but there are two sets of washer and dryers, one upstairs and one downstairs. Doing laundry is no problem.
The management company was quick to respond with any questions that we had.
Our family had a great time and we cannot wait to go back!

We had a great time aa this was our first family visit to OOB. The home was very accurate to what we saw in the listing and the PM was very friendly and communicative. Worth the extra bucks we paid to stay here and we would highly recommend this place to others ❤️ especially families because it was safe, clean and had everything we need including all that space!

Great location. Less than .2 mile walk to the beach. Clear view of ocean from the house. The fenced in yard was nice to allow pet to go out for a few minutes without a leash. It was also relaxing to have the fire pit or play a few games of cornhole with the boards at the house. The sunroom had lots of games , beach chairs and umbrellas to enjoy all hours of the day.

Great cottage & location! Just steps to the beach! Very clean place! The one thing that wasn’t available was the extra bedding for the pull out couch. Needed to buy that while we were there. We thought having a coffee table with storage would be ideal for the extra bedding for the pull out couch. My sister and I went with our mom who is dealing with a knee injury but is still able to get around fine, but with some assistance walking on the beach. She thought it would have been nice to have a walk in shower or at least a bar to help her get in and out of the tub easier. We had a very nice time and recommend this place very much! Old Orchard Beach is beautiful! And this spot is fantastic!

Love it when there are no surprises. This property was just as listed. The pictures were accurate. The checkin and departure process was super easy. The location cannot be beat! Walk out to the beach and they have a station to clean your sand off before entering the building again.
We visited with three teenagers and had plenty of room for five people.
The property management company and the building staff were incredibly kind. We would return again!

Our family loved our stay at “Blue Doors by the Sea.”
Upon arrival we were all pleased how utterly spotless the house was, and totally ready for our arrival.
The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans and dishes so we never worried about preparing our family dinners.
Rooms were stocked with towels, beds made, and a great perk: each room had a mini-split so we were all able to control the temperature to our own comfort!
A big tv (we didn’t use it, but it was there) and a comfortable living area that fit us all, plus a great outdoor area with a grill/smoker that we made the most of!
We found the owners of the property very responsive to our calls, emails and texts – both before and during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay in OOB and this house was perfect for our family. It’s very comfortable and is well equipped – with lots of extras too. Kids loved the basketball net, the firepit, the games… The location is very close to the local food market, and main tourist souvenir shops and only a 15 minute walk to the beach down Walnut street. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay, the beach was right there. The kitchen at this property was extremely small so we did very little cooking. I think the check in time should be earlier than 4 as the whole day is really wasted, not being able to park on the property until 4 was a real bummer. Overall the property was nice just a bit small.

We had a great time at the Otis House for our summer beach vacation. The house is gorgeous, clean, updated and very close to the action but still quiet and peaceful. The section of beach it’s on is also very nice and quiet.
There were two things that kept me from a full 5 star rating:
1. When we came home for lunch on Sunday, a Uhaul truck was in the driveway (not marked Bayley) and a man was inside the house. He stated he was there to fix a light and we should have received notice. We did not. That was a bit upsetting with all our personal items in the house and no notice ahead of time.
2. The queen mattress in the upstairs bedroom is the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever been on. It’s extremely stiff and we woke up sore the first few days we were there. A suggestion would be to put a topper on it that’s more comfy, even an egg crate foam would work.
Otherwise, the place is fabulous and we would absolutely recommend to others looking to stay in Scarborough/OOB area.

Our family just returned today from staying at the Niblet cottage. The easy walk to the beach was wonderful. The cottage was adorable and perfect for our family of 3 and 2 dogs. The neighborhood folks were kind. Lots to do in the area – nature walks, canoe in the marsh, whale watching, and Old Orchard Beach. The minor issue was no dishwasher or hairdryer like mentioned, but again that was small, not significant where it impacted the trip. Would defly recommend this location to family looking for a quiet getaway close to the beach. The beach access was gorgeous, quieter than OOB. Took some great pictures of family together! And the host communicated exceptionally well and provided fantastic recommendations in the area. Awesome opportunity!

Very nice area. Wasn’t sure if we were supposed to access searose to head to the beach or go out to east grand and around. Otherwise very nice property. Only downside was that you accessed the bedroom with the bunk beds through the main bedroom. But wasn’t an issue cause it was all family.

Great location! We were literally right next to pier! All the action plus some. We were with kids ages 15-10 and it was perfect with activities everywhere to keep them busy. Boogie boarding and body surfing were amazing. The pool was nice too and not too busy.
As for the condo, it was clean and very spacious. The only thing I wish was for a sleeper sofa of some sort. Because sometimes the kids like to spread out rather than all sleeping in one room. The adults also like to spread out..
Would recommend and will definitely consider going against this property!

We just returned from a great stay at Family Tides! There were 14 of us total (6 adults, 8 kids) and the house accommodated us all very comfortably. Lots of amenities – a well-stocked kitchen, Sonos, wifi, streaming capable TVs. The walk to the beach was very short – so short people could go back and forth to use the bathroom or retrieve forgotten items easily. It was close enough to Old Orchard beach to head down for the arcade/amusement park, but far enough from Old Orchard beach to escape the chaos! The beach was great too – pretty good waves but safe enough for our little ones. We will definitely consider staying at Family Tides again if we return to the Old Orchard area. We absolutely loved staying at The Otis House. The house was well kept, very clean, and fit our two families of 4 comfortably.
The location is steps from the beach (a beautiful, quiet beach), a short walk to a local market and some quaint restaurants, and you can also catch the trolley into the OOB. We will definitely be re-booking for next summer!

This house accommodated our group quite nicely! The home was clean, property was nice. Unfortunately it rained for most of the time we were here, but despite this the house never felt crowded. On the day it was not raining, it was only a short, easy 5 minute or less walk to the beach; about 15 +/- walk to the pier. I would definitely recommend this home if you have a larger family/ group that you’re traveling with!

The property is literally 20 feet from the ocean in a very family friendly neighborhood. The property had everything you needed and more for the very best beach vacation. The property included an outdoor shower for cleanliness after the beach but before you come inside the cottage. A private outdoor grill overlooking the beautiful Atlantic Ocean and the refreshing breeze that comes along with it. The indoors of the cottage has every amenity you would need including a washer/dryer, dishwasher, smart tv, and two very cozy bedrooms. Within a few minutes you could walk to the local shuffle board courts in Ocean Park or a stroll into OOB for a fun adventure at Palace Playland or the numerous restaurants OOB has to offer. With private parking on the property you really feel very secure, cozy and stress free. My family recommend this property to anyone and give it a 10 out of 10. What a great stay and we miss it already! We can’t wait for next year!

The property is stunning, its right on the ocean. Its a quiet, family friendly neighborhood. The beach is not over crowded so you can stretch out and enjoy the day.The owner is on site and delightful. The unit is clean bright, the two AC units does a proper job cooling down the unit. We loved this house. We are a family of grandparents, siblings, and small children. We loved how quick the walk to and from the beach was (for naptime) and the house is absolutely gorgeous! It was really great that every family had their own bathroom. Our favorite thing to do was sit on the deck and watch the birds and the waves. Great location, short walk to coffee, bakery, and ice cream. Quiet street and all the amenities we needed for a beach week!

This house suited our sibling reunion perfectly. It is the second summer we stayed here! The house is clean, bright and cheerful and very well appointed. The location right on the beach is absolutely wonderful. Even though the weather wasn’t ideal for our week, we still had the view from the main floor kitchen and living area. Hope to be back again!

Sea Breeze is a house meant for hosting ~ and it had a great collection of gear in the kitchen as well as beach related gear had we so chosen; given that we were there for Christmas the beach was best for walking on.
The shining star of the show however were the people at Bayley Vacation Rentals. We arrived on 12/23/22 in the middle of a monster storm, flooding and then closing the access road to the house. Monique, Allison and the team kept us in the loop and then, when we were able to get there but were hopelessly lost due to the lack of visibility, talked us to the front door. A nicer and more considerate group of people we could not imagine. They brought in supplies in case the power went out ~ it didn’t ~ and responded to our few glitches quickly.
The house is large, able to handle our needs with 2 energetic kids, older adults and those of us in between. Unloading the cars, in the middle of the storm, was easy-peasy as we were able to do so through the garage, staying out of the rain and whipping wind. The house was super clean, easy to navigate and had some choices for seating.

Stay was fantastic for our family of 4 (with 5 and 9-year-old kids). Property managers were excellent with communication. While the building is older and a little dated externally, they’ve done a great job maintaining it and the unit was beautifully updated. Bedrooms and living area were comfortable. Location was unbeatable! We had a gorgeous unobstructed view of the ocean from the balcony from which we enjoyed morning coffee and happy hour each day. The beach access is right in front of the unit and it was a quieter section of the beach. Yet, we were only a 7 minute walk from the Pier and amusements. We basically spent all day relaxing on the beach – swimming, boogie boarding, building sandcastles, etc- and it was very easy to run back to the unit or even just the indoor pool area if we needed bathrooms, more drinks, or food. We then spent pretty much every evening out and about either with area restaurants, the rides, or arcade. All 4 of us loved it and would be back in a heartbeat.

Management is very responsive and very communicative. House is immaculate and kitchen well equipped. Keurig coffee. Just 2-3 minute walk to the beach. The road in front is busy, but it didn’t bother us at night. The ceilings are low downstairs, Maybe 6’6″? Upstairs rooms are dormered with very low head clearance in some places. One full bath off kitchen + 2 half baths. We had a great time.

The Beach Abode is well located, 1 block from the beach and 15 min walk to The Pier and Palace Playland. The place was clean and confortable. My only complaint would go the the key system. A code is perfect while travelling since you don’t have to carry around the keys but I think a code door lock would be an improvement. We found the actual pad lock system not easy to deal with when your hands are full with beach stuff or groceries. It would avoid also a situation where somebody took off with the building key and we couldn’t get in.

This is the second year that we’ve had our family vacation at Nautical Point. We love the house so much, and the hosts make everything so simple – there’s nothing to worry about except having a wonderful vacation on beautiful Old Orchard Beach. Can’t go wrong with this property – well worth every cent. PS – for larger families, renting the house and adjacent cottage is perfect for more space.

This cottage was very clean and worked great for our family. The pictures and virtual tour were spot-on, as the cottage looked just as it did online. Unlike other places we’ve rented in the past that have left us feeling dirty or that the owner hadn’t actually cleaned the place, this cottage left us feeling clean and like we were staying at a place a bit more upscale than the typical rental. The kitchen is more than adequate for a single family, the backyard is a decent size (brand new outdoor furniture arrived during our stay), and being able to walk across the street to the beach is priceless.
The only things that could be improved (from our perspective) would be having a walk-in shower (instead of the claw tub) so younger kids can get in/out of the shower easier, having 4 chairs at the kitchen table (there were only 2), and adding some additional chairs to the back porch so everyone can enjoy the space there (again, only 2 chairs). Overall though, it was a very nice property and we’d highly recommend it!

Clean and cute property in OOB. Communication was great and when we accidentally got locked out someone was there to assist within 10 minutes. Looks just like the photos. FYI the train runs very near but didn’t bother us – in fact the kids loved it when they saw it (maybe 2x a day). The beach is a 3 minute walk. Recommend!

This was our 3rd year in a row visiting Old Orchard and our stays keep getting better and better. This condo was CLEAN and the location is superb! Our family of 6 loved every aspect this place had to offer from friendly staff, easy access to beach, the indoor pool, and a large condo with 2 well cleaned large bathrooms 😊 definitely hope to stay at this building again. It had a very nice side balcony that gave a good view of the ocean and while I may try to find an end unit (beachfront facing) next time, I would absolutely return to this exact condo. Loved our stay.

We loved staying at this house in OOB. The street is quiet & great for families. The beach is beautiful, super close to walk from the house. We loved walking down to the market for sandwiches & drove to Portland (about 30 mins). The property managers were quick to reply to any issues & did a great job making our stay enjoyable & relaxing. This was our first house rental in years. We were meeting our children and two grandchildren there, and hoped it would work for everyone. It was perfect for us. The house had great amenities, with complete kitchen including dishwasher, new nice appliances, plenty of shelf and cabinet room. The mini washer and dryer were very handy, and unexpected. Bathrooms (1 full and 2 half) were modern, nice. Beds were so comfortable. Lots and lots of pillows. The grandkids loved the little carpeted cubby space at the top of the stairs, liked sleeping there. The house was cool and comfortable during very hot weather during our stay. The kids loved the big screen TV and L couch in living room. Door codes worked so much better than keys!
A few suggestions: mosquitos and flies are extensive in beach areas but for the porches outside the house, it would be nice to have a bug zapper, or some other repellent for that area (some of the lights that repel?) Also, maybe some beach towels would be nice for people traveling in with limited luggage space, same with light blankets.
We did appreciate the manual that you provided about the area, some of the house details. A description of the bedroom set ups would be helpful for people to plan ahead for a larger number of people.

The house was really nice and just steps away from a quiet section of the beach. The kitchen is large and stocked with everything you need. There are two full bathrooms and two living rooms, one on each floor. The house has central air which was AMAZING to have during this stretch of hot days. There is a washer and dryer in the basement which was so nice to have. Overall, the house and location were great! Communication with the property owner was excellent. If I could improve anything, I would just maybe improve the outdoor seating area near the grill to make that a better option for eating since seating is somewhat limited inside. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

I was so happy with the experience! Easy rental, beautiful house, great location! My husband got admitted to the hospital on Sunday right before vacation so I thought I was going to have to cancel! Fortunately, my daughter and her boyfriend came with my younger step children! The location was perfect! The checkin process was great! Sleeping arrangements perfect as well! My parents came one day to help as well which eased my husbands mind while he was recovering in the hospital and it was perfect that the location and amenities were so amazing! We can’t wait to ALL go back next year!

The 5 min walk to the beach was amazing for our family with young kids – enabled us to come and go throughout the day. The house was very clean and well-appointed. It’s a bit smaller than the pictures make it look, but we spent most of the time outside anyway. Tons of beach toys, two umbrellas, and a beach cart were great. And we enjoyed the little deck and picnic table for outdoor dinners. We’d definitely recommend for a family.

This was the perfect size and location for me to hide away at the start of my vacation. Would also be great for a couple. While there are other units close by, I had no trouble with noise or privacy, even with the windows open. (The unit does have two window AC units.) Having the driveway parking was a plus. Though I call it a hideaway the location is not remote so, whether you want to visit the beach, find a restaurant, tour the lighthouses, or visit Portland, it is all within walking or a short drive away. I would stay in this location again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, cozy get away near the beach.

We are counting the days until we return next year! This house has everything and more. Luxury at its finest. The owner must have little children because they have equipped the home with several child proofing items.
The highlight of the rental however is actually the property management company. They are top notch and go over and beyond to ensure your stay is excellent.

We loved this updated unit. It was beautifully decorated and have every last thing we could possibly need. Loved the 2nd bedroom and the twin over full plus day bed with trundle. When you have teens having a room that can sleep 3-4 comfortably is often an afterthought. We have been renting in OOB for 15+ years and working with Bayley Vacation Rental was fantastic. Their communication was all streamlined, they always answered in a timely manner, friendly, everything was done via their modern website, just an easy experience overall and a great change from rental companies you have to chase!

I was lucky enough to find this property for rent as late as April 2021. All I can figure is that there was a cancellation because there is NO WAY this property should be available for any week during the summer. It is a gorgeous house on a private block (with a gate) in a great town (Scarborough), only steps to the beach and within walking distance of several good restaurants.
First the house……It is HUGE!! We had 9 people (3 married couples, one woman and two young men (20 something sons of the other guests). Everyone had private space, no more than 2 people per bathroom (4 full baths & one half). The kitchen was wonderful (we ate in 6 of the 7 nights….cooking 4 and ordering in 2). We used the grill a lot and it was great. The outdoor fireplace was awesome and we used it nearly every night. Just a beautiful property that you won’t regret renting!!
The ONLY thing missing was one of those outdoor showers for when we returned from the beach. There are two hoses for watering the lawn, so it would be easy to install an outdoor shower and they would be well served to do so. Everyone loves the outdoor shower!!!
As for the town (Scarborough)…..it is awesome!! There are plenty of restaurants close by. We tried the BBQ Garage (good food and great value…..we got the take-out special for 10 people ($175 or so) and it was a ton of food and lasted days), and we went to the Clambake and Salty Bay, (both within walking distance and delicious). We also took a lobster boat cruise and the 6 of us who went got to pull traps and keep whatever was in them and we went home with 7 lobsters. And the captain gave us a tour of the Maine coastline for many miles. We also went to Old Orchard Beach a couple of times and it is cheesy and wonderful…..perfect old boardwalk town. We took day trips to Kennebunkport (4 of us), Portland (4 of us) and Boston (4 of us for a Red Sox game), all of which were nice.
The beach was awesome (we are beach lovers). There was seaweed a couple of days, which was kind of yucky, but it washed away and the town cleaned it up. Most days were perfect beach days. Some or all of us went down to the beach every day for at least 4 hours, so that is great fun.
Overall, this property was AWESOME & AMAZING!!! If we ever some back, we would stay there in a heartbeat (assuming it is available). Rent this place if you can!!
One last thing…..we emailed or texted Bayley’s LLC (owner) and got responses within minutes. Always a good thing!

Found this little cottage as I was trying to find something in Portland. So glad we found this in an adorable beqch neighborhood. Has great restaurants in walking distance, beach is a block away, alight view of the marsh, and can launch your kayak and SUP right down the street. Short drive to Portland but a lot to do right in Pine Point.

We had such a great time at this property. The location can’t be beat and the house itself is beautiful. We loved walking down to Ocean Park for ice cream and then heading over to OOB for rides. We had several little ones with us and there was plenty to do and the layout of the house worked really well. We stayed during the week of the 4th, and we could see fireworks from both OOB and Kennebunk. The neighbors were all extremely friendly as well. Even though the weather wasn’t great, we went to the beach every single day it was honestly one of the best locations for a summer house we have ever rented. It is truly a gem and we can’t wait to go back next year!

Hosted my family of 12. The place has everything you could want and more. Fully equipped kitchen to host a crowd, excellent living space indoor and out. Great setup for the kids, the room is huge and gives them their own space, plus a play room on the 3rd floor for all ages! Nice touches like Sonos, smart tvs, beach gear. Excellent stay! The condo was well stocked with everything you could need and having a company provide clean towels and linens certainly made things easier! Washer and dryer were super convenient being at the beach with three teen girls and me and my husband. You can literally walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes. On the corner of the street is an amazing little mom and pop restaurant that does an awesome breakfast, lunches and pizza. Literally everything is within walking distance-shops, restaurants and bars. The location is great if you want to explore as Portland is within 20 minutes, Freeport less than an hour and Booth Bay is only about an hour and half. We had a great week!

Tidy, clean property, with rental 2 1/2 flights up to little entry porch with clothesline for drip dry. Small, but efficient space, with enough storage space for our brought items. Nice shower/tub, air-conditioning and ceiling fans for good air, straight on beach view from Master Bedroom, twin bedroom with side window view of beach, comfortable furniture and great access to backyard and beach. A storage closet easily accessed from driveway held two bikes, boogie boards and chairs, with room shared with other occupant. Laundry access also from driveway, to clean laundry room shared, but with only one other guest. Lovely host and friendly neighbors, all added up to a delightful time enjoying the beauty and waves.

We had a great week at this home. The neighborhood is walkable with groceries and cute shops within 5 shady minutes. The house is spacious with gathering space for our large group. The bathrooms are gorgeous and the kitchen was a joy to cook in. Lots of storage! The lower level walkout to a beautiful new patio area with gas fire pit and plenty of seating. The beach is just steps away and is clean and peaceful. Just a 20 minute walk to Old Orchard Pier. We can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely perfect location – steps from the beach, walking distance to bike/kayak rentals, food and a short drive to Portland. Stayed for a week with a group of 5 friends and had easy access to so many activities. Plenty of space in the house for everyone. The internet connection is also fantastic, so the house is perfect for mixing working remotely with outdoor fun. Would highly recommend for any type of group!
