As expected, great location, great conveniences nearby, lovely home, well-managed, nice outdoor space. Would be a 5/5 experience if not for the fact that most, if not all, of the mattresses are exceptionally firm and stiff. Not expecting high luxury but they were firm to the point of uncomfortable for most in my party. Which did detract from the overall experience. Otherwise, really good rental.

Overall good experience with this property. We have been renting vacation homes for over 20 years in NH, ME and Cape Cod so we have realistic expectations and do our research. We enjoyed the backyard and porch and the easy walk to the pier and beach. We found parking on the property difficult. The driveway is very narrow with stone walls on both sides. We were unable to park in the back because of the owners vehicle was blocking access and contradicts the pictures and listing. Everything was functional as expected. One of the bedrooms had a king bed which did not match the pictures. The 2nd floor bathroom needs updating.

Great location with a fenced-in yard. Easy stroll to boardwalk. Safe neighborhood. Good bbq. The kitchen was oddly laid out, but it did the trick. Clean sheets and towels, AC units worked, and the carpets were freshly cleaned. It worked well.

What a joy to drive up to this home every day after a long day of sightseeing! The front porch is so welcoming and the house itself has a great energy and is very comfortable! Minutes to the beach and the fabulous Main Street with great places to grab a bite to eat!! Would definitely stay again and no hesitation in recommending the Dancing Queen to others! An absolutely lovely place!

DANCING QUEEN
Beautiful home with lovely furnishings and a great vibe. Centrally located in town and walkable to beach. Lovely host who went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Thea is knowledgeable about the area and was able to give suggestions and recommendations of "things to do." I plan to visit again and would highly recommend for a great get a way.
Cozy, comfy home, plenty of space, close to everything
We LOVED our stay at the Dancing Queen! This house has plenty of space for a large family or a couple families or a girls' trip. We felt like we were in a real neighborhood, with a beautiful back porch and back yard, just a short walk to the beach (7 min) and restaurants. Beautifully modernized, yet retaining the charm and character of older homes. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home with several seating options--a round table in the kitchen, a large dining room table, and patio table and chairs for 4 on the back porch where we enjoyed our morning coffee. The beach is beautiful, too. Wide and flat and great for walking. The water was warm enough for swimming, too. We grew up going to the Penobscot Bay area of Maine, but Old Orchard Beach is so much more accessible--less time traveling and more time relaxing in our home away from home. Highly Recommend! Convenient location in a quiet neighborhood.
The Dancing Queen was everything we expected. Very spacious and clean with a wonderful back yard. It's a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. I would highly recommend this place to stay. We will be going back this coming summer.
Friends weekend at the Dancing Queen Old Orchard Beach
This house was exactly as it is shown in the pictures! It was super clean and had an amazing yard. We were vacationing with friends and loved being able to walk to the Pier, the beach and to local restaurants. I definitely recommend a stay at the Dancing Queen! We are already planning our next visit - a longer one this time!
