This cottage was very clean and worked great for our family. The pictures and virtual tour were spot-on, as the cottage looked just as it did online. Unlike other places we’ve rented in the past that have left us feeling dirty or that the owner hadn’t actually cleaned the place, this cottage left us feeling clean and like we were staying at a place a bit more upscale than the typical rental. The kitchen is more than adequate for a single family, the backyard is a decent size (brand new outdoor furniture arrived during our stay), and being able to walk across the street to the beach is priceless. The only things that could be improved (from our perspective) would be having a walk-in shower (instead of the claw tub) so younger kids can get in/out of the shower easier, having 4 chairs at the kitchen table (there were only 2), and adding some additional chairs to the back porch so everyone can enjoy the space there (again, only 2 chairs). Overall though, it was a very nice property and we’d highly recommend it!
